ingredients

1  (1 lb) loaf Brioche, cut into ½-inch cubes

2  tablespoons unsalted butter

2  medium green apples, chopped

1  cup dates, chopped

1  cup chopped walnuts

1  teaspoon salt

1/2  teaspoon ground black pepper

1  cup heavy cream

preparation

step 1.

Preheat oven to 400°F. Lay cubed Brioche in a single layer on rimmed baking sheet. Cook, until toasted and golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.

step 2.

In a large skillet, melt butter, over medium heat. Add dates, apple, walnuts, salt and pepper. Mix well. Add cream; cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant and reduced by half.

step 3.

Add toasted brioche to butter mixture. Stirring well to combine and set aside.
